6/7/2010 WRIGHTSVILLE AND HANSONS ARRIVE

Steven headed to work, Dan got involved in maintenance and I did some quick clean up and provisioning this morning. By noon we were back together and headed to the darling Wilmington airport to pick up the arriving Hansons. We whisked them off to lunch at Jackson’s Big Oak BBQ (yes, the second time for us) and snapped a photo of its magnificent namesake. Impressive tree!

We continued our tour of Wilmington by walking through Steven’s UNCW. It is such a beautiful setting.

We finally let Dick and Cheryl move into their home for the next week and returned to the Quest. After a quick regrouping and clean up, we welcomed Mike, Julie and River for cocktails on the bow then headed to Old Chicago Pizza for dinner. Mike and Julie own the franchise for the state and treated all of us to a most fabulous evening of food and drink. Thank you so much!!
