After breakfast in a little diner and stops at the huge Bass Pro Shop and Home Depot we made it to the Fort Lauderdale Antique Car Museum to feast our eyes on some old Packard cars and tons of memorabilia. The 28,000 square foot facility was crammed with 32 Packards, all in working order. There were also collections of spark plugs, hood ornaments, gear shift knobs, car ash trays, hub caps and just too many other things to list here.

This museum was a love affair for founder and collector, Mr. Arthur O. Stone. Mr. Stone (1920-2010) and his wife amassed this collection starting with his first Packard purchased in 1948 for $700.00. Our favorite was the fun 1948 “Woodie”.

Back on Quest Dan installed the new salon lights and we watched as Sam Querrey defeated Tipsarevic at the Indian Wells Tournament.  Go Sam!
