5/15/2010 NEW RIVER, FORT LAUDERDALE, FL

I had only one goal for today, to find a real Verizon store and get my phone back in working order. This was no easy feat. We did find Verizon about 2 miles from our Quest and started out walking. About half way there we found a local BBQ and stopped for a great lunch before trudging on. Unfortunately the store was not a REAL Verizon service store but they did help us to find the needed service store and we hailed a taxi to get us there. Another hour of tweaking and my Blackberry is now working!

Back at the Quest we scurried to put things in order for our arriving guests and enjoyed the varied parade of passing vessels. We actually had to pick up leaves from the overhanging tree. Boat gardening!

Bruce and Kate joined us at the Quest around 5:00 PM after an easy Southwest flight from Albany. After getting them moved in (and cocktails) we headed for dinner at a nearby Irish Pub. Good dinner then a long walk before retiring to bed.
