After coffee and breakfast at the Cuban Coffee Queen, we walked to the Key West Marine Hardware Store where we found the water temperature gauge and sender unit needed to replace the existing faulty unit. As soon as that was done we hauled out of Key West and headed to Hawks Channel for an outside passage to Marathon Key.

Seemed a little strange with only us two on the Quest but it turned out to be an enjoyable day and we successfully moored on the city harbor mooring ball, W-7. We barbecued steaks and had a quiet evening aboard our Quest.
