First thing, bright and early, our fun guests departed. The taxi (unfortunately not a pink one like in Key West) whisked them off to the Miami Airport for their trip back to California. We will miss their lively, upbeat company. And I will miss Jan’s guidance with my needle point!!

OK, OK, SO WE ARE GOING ALREADY!

Boring day! All we did was work on changing linens, laundry, dusting, vacuuming, stocking up on water and prepping for our journey to the Bahamas. Once we leave Miami, our blog will be sporadic at best. We are turning off the broadband card due to the outrageous cost of transmitting data from out there. It seems that it would cost about $61,000.00 a month to use our card and post the blog at the usual monthly usage. Not going to happen! Our last daily blog will most likely be Sunday morning. After that we will re-cap whenever we locate a Wi-Fi hot spot. We will, however, be able to receive emails on our phone and accept EMERGENCY phone calls only.
