KEY WEST BIGHT MARINA
Dawn found us at the entrance to Key West Shipping Channel. By 8:15 we were at the Key West Bight Marina fuel dock, replenishing our thirsty Quest. After fueling and moving to our slip we made some phone calls and headed to the nearby Customs office only to find the office unexpectedly closed for the day. More phone calls led us to the Customs office at the Key West Airport. After filling out all of the extra paperwork due to our emergency stop of- in Cuba, we were sent back to the quarantined boat to await the Customs inspection before being given the O.K. to leave the boat and explore Key West.At this time we said goodbye to Robert at the airport as he found flights back to COLD Burlington. Adam and Reuben rented a car to get ready for their departure from the Quest on Sunday. We enjoyed a beautiful sunset from the famous Mallory Square and were entertained by amusing street performers before finding our way to Duval Street for a late dinner.
