We are celebrating Adam’s 24th birthday with another day of work!! Dan and I took off this AM to revisit the supply stores for replenishments, returns, and additionally needed supplies. Breakfast out at the recommended Champion House Restaurant was a bonus. It was a buffet of local foods and kind of reminded me of Hawaiian local food. We took the boys back a plate of curry chicken to keep their strength up for the forced labor.
SLAVE LABOR (AKA REUBEN AND ADAM SANDING)
More sanding, taping, stripping paint off the helm door and servicing the batteries. We were all exhausted and ready for our showers before checking the fish weigh-in and heading for a night on the town. We had a beautiful sushi dinner at the Bamboo with spicy tuna, scallops, cowboy roll and other scrumptious goodies. Good food and super nice staff. After stuffing ourselves we headed to Mezza, where Canada Adam works. We all had a couple of cocktails before Adam and Reuben were coerced by the pleas of the bachelorette party to tastefully entertain them. What a riot!!! Dan and I left the guys to their own devices to get home and called it a day.
