With the arrival of April we are acutely aware of the lengthening days and consistently warm days. Ah, this must be spring in Florida! Soon we will be heading north and are curious as to what awaits us there.

Dan gave the Quest a quick wash this morning then accompanied Garth to a couple of boat supply stores. You never know what you might need! Later in the afternoon, Cathy and I made the rounds to the market, liquor store, post office and West Marine.

At cocktail hour we walked to the Algonquin’s new home in the Las Olas City Marina to see the work that had been done in the last week or so. They had cushions recovered, new window shades in the master stateroom and old carpets removed in preparation for installation of the new. The most impressive was the change in the helm. Garth had gotten rid of the old, obsolete equipment and moved things around for efficiency. It all looks great!
