Lazy, lazy day!
A beautiful 60’ Ocean Alexander, Helga’s Car, took the berth right next to us this morning. Lucy, their 5 month old Labradoodle, charmed us all.
LOVELY LUCY ON HELGA'S CAR |
We spent quite a bit of the morning exploring the upcoming weather, trying to decide what our plans might include. I think we are opting to let the first little weather window pass us by and watch next week’s larger and more favorable window. We will continue to monitor the reports each day but this is our tentative plan right now.
The lovely pool area at the point called to us this afternoon and we spent quite some time lazing on the lounges and enjoying the magnificent views across the Samana Bay.
IT'S A TOUGH JOB BUT SOMEONE HAS TO DO IT! |
For dinner we tried the on site Italian restaurant for a thin-crusted pizza baked in their brick oven. We chose a great Carbonara Pizza with the egg baked right in the center. Totally yummy! Richard and “Lucy” from Helga’s Car joined us at our lovely outside table. I am not sure how the restaurant makes a “go of it” as we only saw one other customer all evening.
