Laundry day already?? Did sheets and towels then walked to Grand Rivers to see what all their Hunters Moon festivities entailed. There were cars and golf carts and motorcycles parked in every available space. Town citizens had booths set up and were selling everything from Avon to Jewelry to autumn wreaths to politicians running for local elections. Then there were the food booths! BBQ, sandwiches and, oh yes, don’t forget the deep fried Twinkies. There was live music to entertain all and games for both children as well as adults to play.

Dan made the trip from Evart, Mi back to the lonely Quest in Kentucky by 2:30, a whipped puppy. After unloading his work-dirty clothes and catching his breath, we both wandered back to the town’s festivities then I showed him my Kentucky Lake vantage point.
