CRAIG'S PHOTO
Great biscuits and gravy at Barista Café on Water Sreet. Then Alexis and I managed to solve the “shoe basket” dilemma at a nearby shop.
SHOE BASKET
While Alexis and I were exploring the town, Dan and Craig worked on buffing the back of the boat until, “Oh, shit-Oh, shit!” Off floated the bottle of spray cleaner while Dan was still holding the spray top. AND, can you believe it? It never tipped over and Dan was able to retrieve it farther down the dock. What a guy!
DAN POLISHING QUEST
Our boat broker, Rick Stanley, stopped by for a visit and tour of the Quest. Now, he did the sale but had never seen the boat that was in Oregon. He did, of course, approve.
What a thunder storm we had!! While we were marveling at the huge bolts of lightning and roaring claps of thunder, poor Dan was stuck in the rental car and couldn’t get to the boat until it let up. There were definitely a few “10s”.
WAITING
MAKING A RUN FOR IT
Following the storm there was a little shopping excursion to the lovely Mayfair area for Alexis and I and a visit, once again, to West Marine and the hardware store for the guys. So everyone was happy!
Steven joined us for Mexican dinner at La Costas then we called it a day.
